Found in Ecuador without locational data as a mini-miniature to miniature sized epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped by a 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, stout, triquetrous, 3.2" [8 cm] long, congested, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with a bract just above the base, arising from the base of the ramicaul with conduplicate, imbricating floral bracts and holding the flower more or less at the height of the leaf.
