Found in Ecuador without specific locality as a mini-miniature sized, epiphyte with stout, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, slender, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract in the lower quarter an inflated and a tubular floral bract
CAUTION The colors do not match those in Luer's description otherwise it is correct, so use with caution
