Common Name The Beautiful Masdevallia
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Amazonas department of Peru without collection data as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with stout, erect, blackish ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3, dark, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, cuneate and abruptly contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, slender, 1.2" [3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract above the base.
