Found in Zamora-Chinchipe department of Ecuador without collection data as a miniature sized, epiphyte with blackish, slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, slender, triquetrous, subdense, 5.6" [14 cm] long, a successively few flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul.
