Common Name Tonduz's Malaxis [Swiss Botanist and Orchid Collector in Central America early 1900's]

Found in Costa Rica in pluvial oak forests at unknown elevations as a mini-miniature sized terrestrial without pseudobulbs, with .6" [1.5 cm] between each stem carrying 2, ovate to lanceolate, acute to acuminate, somewhat criped margins, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, peduncle .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, umbellate, many flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
