Common Name Orodonez's Lepanthes [Guatemalan Collector of the type species current]

Found in Guatemala at elevations around 2700 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with filiform ramicauls enveloped by brown, microscopically dentate lepanthiform sheaths with dilated ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, orbicular-elliptic, green sometimes tinged with rose, tridentate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 1.2 to 4" [3 to 10 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence enveloped basally by floral bracts.
