Found in Ecuador at elevations around 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold, pendant growing epiphyte with ramicauls enveloped by a single, ciliate sheath and carrying a single, pendant, distichous, thickly coriaceous, glabrous, broadly ovate, obtuse, abruptly contracted into a petiolate bsae leaf that blooms in the spring on a .2" [6 mm] long, successively 2 to 3 flowered, racemose inflorescence with long ciliate floral bracts.
