Common Name The Densely Flowered Lepanthopsis

Flower Size .05" [1 mm]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil in shady forests as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 4 lepanthiform sheaths with microscopically scabrous margins of the ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, gradually cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a filiform, .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long, congested, simultaneously many flowered, racemose inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul carrying the flowers in 2 opposite ranks.
