Found in Jamaica at elevations around 228 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 7 to 9, minutely ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate to ovate-subcordate, acute, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a filiform, congested, distichous, .8 to 2.04" [2 to 5.1 cm] long, successivly single, many flowered inflorescenece with shortly ciliate floral bracts.
