Common Name The Lax Leaved Elleanthus

Found in Peru at elevations of 2400 to 2500 meters as a large sized, cold growing terrestrial with simple, slender, laxly few leaved apically stems carrying lanceolate, acuminate, tridenticulate apically leaves that blooms on a shortly pedunculate, cylindric, to 3.4" [8 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, imbricate,lower ons surpassing the flower floral bracts.
