Found in Barahona Dominican Republic as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a very short rhizome giving rise to a flexuous, subfiliform stem enveloped completely by minutely verruculose sheaths and carrying erect-patent, filiform, acute, glabrous leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, fasciculate, basally enveloped by sheaths, few flowered inflorescence with minute, much shorter than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying pellucid, straw-colored flowers with a purple veined lip.
