Common Name or Meaning Regent's Anacheilium [Brazilain discoverer of species current]

Found in Bahia Brazil in rainforests at elevations around 500 to 700 meters as a hot to warm growing epiphyte with elliptical, laterally strongly compressed, ancipitous pseudobulbs enveloped in youth by deciduous, imbricating sheaths and carrying 2 apical, erect, subcoriaceous, oblanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, 6 to 12 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe within a spathe and holding the non-resupinate, fleshy flowers in the upper 2/3's of the inflorescence
