Common Name The Thick Tip Pleurothallis [refers to the thick tips of the floral parts]
Flower Size
Found in Brazil without locality as a mini-miniature szied, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thick, linear-elliptic, acute, canaliculate, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, peduncle to .08" [2 mm] long, rachis to 2" [5 cm] long, loose, simultaneously 3 flowered inflorescence
This species would be better placed in Pleurothallis within my framework of the Orchidaceae but as yet it has not been described as such.
